Charging & Power Solutions: The Guide to Continuous Energy 🔋

In a world where everything is mobile, the battery is the heart of the business. Proper power and charging management will ensure your work doesn't stop at the worst possible moment.

1. Choosing a Wall Charger (GaN Charger)

What is GaN technology? GaN chargers are smaller, more efficient, and run cooler than regular chargers. They let you charge a laptop, phone, and headphones simultaneously from a single small charger in your bag.

Look for chargers that support Power Delivery (PD) and at least 65W of power for charging laptops.

2. Power Banks for Working in the Field

How do you choose a power bank that can also charge a laptop? Not every power bank is suitable for a computer. To charge a laptop, the power bank must deliver high output power (usually above 45W) through a USB-C port.

Recommended capacity: 20,000mAh or more for long trips.

3. Protecting Office Equipment: UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

🛡️ A one-second power outage can fry a server
If you have a local server, NAS storage, or an important desktop computer, you must connect them to a UPS device. It not only gives you time for an orderly shutdown, but also stabilizes voltage and protects components from power surges.

4. Maintaining Battery Health

  • Don't hit 0%: Lithium batteries wear out faster when fully depleted.
  • Smart charging: If your laptop is always plugged in, check if it has a BIOS setting that limits charging to 80% to extend battery life.
  • Avoid heat: Heat is enemy number 1 of batteries. Don't leave a phone or computer charging under direct sunlight or in a closed car.
